Customs & Import Duties
At Menfors, most of our products already include VAT (Value Added Tax) in the price shown at checkout — meaning, in most cases, you won’t have to pay anything extra when your order arrives.
However, in some rare situations, depending on the product type or local customs inspection, additional import fees, VAT adjustments, or duties may still apply. These are determined by your country’s customs authorities and remain the customer’s responsibility.
United Kingdom
Under UK distance-selling rules, we must clearly inform our customers of their cancellation rights, delivery times, costs, and how to cancel.
Most orders shipped to the UK already include VAT, so additional payments are uncommon.
Still, HMRC (UK customs) may occasionally apply import duties depending on the item category or value.
You can check current UK import tax and duty information at: https://www.gov.uk/goods-sent-from-abroad/tax-and-duty
European Union
Across the EU, consumers are protected by the 14-day right of withdrawal (you can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving it) and a 2-year legal guarantee for faulty goods.
Some EU countries may handle VAT or import duties differently, so please check your local customs regulations for accurate information.
Important Note
While many of our items are valued under US$50, which means they usually pass through customs without additional duties, any import tax, VAT, or duty applied under your country’s legislation is your responsibility.
We recommend keeping track of your shipment using the tracking tool we provide.
If your order is held at customs, Menfors will assist by coordinating with our suppliers, but the payment of any customs fees or taxes remains with the customer.
We always strive to make your shopping experience smooth and transparent, choosing suppliers who handle VAT inclusion whenever possible and ensuring your order arrives without unnecessary delays.
